Harmonic Balancer

Harmonic Balancer
Just have question regarding to the Harmonic balancer, has anyone replace it before on your own, did you have to drop engine to get to it, or you can easily do it from removing the Passenger side tire and work from there? Also wondered if the Crank Position Sensor is that located behind the harmonic balancer?

I believe that there is elastomer (rubber) between the crankshaft pulley's center "hub" and the outer part of the pulley, but it is NOT a harmonic balancer. As we've seen on this forum in the past is there a visible wobble of the pulley? Why are you concerned? The Gen. 5 cars have the crank position sensor (REF) located adjacent to the crank pulley, but you can remove it without disturbing the crank pulley.
