Don't know if anyone has had this experience with the newer reman maf's yet, but it is great. My 2002 maf fried last week. After lots of searching on these forums, i finally decided to get a 01 sensor and transfer the thermistor wire over. I went to my local napa store and had them order me a reman 01 maf sensor as that is all they can get. Well, much to my delite the one i got was identical to the one that fried and already had the thermistor wire on the sensor. All i did was pull the reman sensor out of the tube and put it in my old tube that is still in the car. Hooked it up and i cant beleive how much better this car runs! I have even gained 4 mpg and am now getting 28mpg. For 120 bucks you cant beat it. Cleared the code out of the comp and havent had a ses light come on yet.
