Not to mention the bad gas mileage.
I vote fix it and keep it. Tell the wife that $1k and the car is good as new is way better than starting with an unknown. And maybe a bigger payment.

LOL true....What i didn't mention is that i already have a Yamaha R1, so my interests are dropping money in the bike. So now that i have a Max, it's hard to have 2 hobbies and justify modding the hell out of both in this economy. I'll still blame the wifey on the motor though, and try to dodge the knives that she may throw my way
