I know I have seen this on here before but i can't seem to find it. My transmission started acting up the other day so i got the car towed and i have a feeling its done for. What should i pay to have a new transmission put in the car i live in St. Louis MO and just called a shop and they told me that with the symptoms i was experiencing it needs a new transmission and cant be rebuilt. it was quoted at 1500-1600 is that to much or about right?
