Depending on the overall condition a used engine/installation will be worth the investment compared to selling the car with a blown motor.
Costs, however, can rise rapidly when doing a replacement e.g. installation of a new clutch assembly and other items possible. If the car isn't drivable, another problem, as a potential buyer wouldn't know, or couldn’t test the various accessories/equipment.

Looks like $800 will buy you a nice 2002 engine with 25,000 miles in Kissimmee. If you can't do the work yourself, installation is another headache.
