It's been a few weeks since I last checked in here, and at that time it was because my service engine light on my 06 max had come on for the first time. I found out that was due to the 02 censor, and replaced it. Now , 2 days before the end of the month, on my way to the shop to get the car inspected, the light comes on again

I decide to wait, and head to work, and verify if anyone knows this question.
In VA, can you fail a state safety inspection because the service engine light is on? I imagine it may have been triggered on due to my gas cap not being sealed, but wont have much time to find out for certain.
