BMW 540i 6-Speed Manual FS
1999 BMW 540i. Six speed manual transmission with sports package. 300HP and still gets 21MPG overall. Vehicle has been carefully maintained and tastefully modified. Comes with every option available for this year including rare rear side airbags, power rear sunshade as well as folding rear seats with ski pass through. As you can see from the pictures car is in excellent shape inside and out. Non smoker vehicle. No kids, no pets and very little food ever in this car.
Wear Items: Tires have less then 5K on them, Brakes were replaced a few years ago but still have a lot of pad wear left (car just passed state inspection in April with no issues). All belts are under 2 years old. Recent oil change. Engine has no leaks as I have already replaced the valve cover gaskets, valley pan gasket etc. I have never added any oil in between services. All spark plugs and wires were replaced about a year ago. Clutch was replaced about 30k ago and is working perfect.
Modifications:
Exterior: M5 Front Bumper, M3 rear Bumper, Xenon Angel Eye Headlights, Celis LED Taillights, Clear side lights and a rear spoiler. 19in Axis Milano Wheels with newer tires. This BMW visually looks like a 2003. Black and white carbon fiber BMW hood and trunk emblems.
Interior: Upgraded stereo with Pioneer AVIC-N2 Navigation/DVD head unit. Sirius satellite radio. Car is currently wired for a sub. Hardwired for a V1 radar detector as well.
Mechanical: Cold Air Intake, Chipped, and upgraded brakes. Clutch delay valve removed.
Known issues:
1. Driver’s door lock actuator is not working. This means you have to use the key to open the drivers’ door instead of the key fob. All other locks work as they should.
2. Drivers’ side seat shows wear on the bolster. No rips or cuts.
3. Common pixel issue with the dash.
Price: Since finding a 6-speed with these modifications is relatively rare it is hard to know what it is worth. KBB Retail is $12,350, Private Party $9,900 and Trade $7,575. I called my bank to see what they would loan (they use what they call “black book”) and they came back with a max of $12,510. I am pricing it at $9,000 OBO. I have no problem talking price as long as you look at the car in person first. If you would like to have the car inspected by your mechanic I have no problem with that as long as it is relatively close to me (Midvale Utah) and you cover the cost.

P.S. If you email me and sound suspicious (Think Scam) I will not respond.
