What I should have asked in the first post was where's the best place to buy the OEM starter without stealership prices (or if there are any good stealerships that sells them lower than others). Thanks for the helpful and unhelpful posts.
The CPS harness has been replaced and so has both the CPS Ref and Pos sensor. The code comes on only as a result of a hard start. If the CPS components are faulty, that shouldn't trigger a hard start, will it? Maybe I should just do what the other thread says to remove it and regrease it. I can barely do brakes so I'm not sure if this is something I will be able to tackle on my own.
