thank you everyone for the prompt reply. I sense the majority opinion is a no go. I do not autocross and I don't really race so this is one of the reasons why I am even looking at lower end products.

I am in the process of putting irotors all around and ceranmic break pads. Shipped was 287. If they perform well, I may go this route with the max, because around 250-300 is really my price range for everything, pads and rotors.

But I am still looking. Thanks for the group deal link! That RTP cross drilled and slotted for $166 is catching my eye! So when it's in the Brembo/RTP section, are those the same company essentially or totally different ones?
