Potential Fuel Pump Issues

Im having potential issues with fuel pump. Have a brand new starter, but it take two or more cranks to get the car started. Today, I had issues accelerating from a stop. Had to apply more gas than usual to get up to speed. Luckily was able to drag her home. Looking at EbayMotors and Amazon for the part and wondering why the part that fits varies so much in appearance. What's the difference between the white plasticky version and cheaper aluminum looking version? Which one should I buy?

Because one is the entire fuel pump assembly, while the other is just the fuel pump.

You want the fuel pump assembly.

Before going through the process of changing the fuel pump assembly change the fuel filter.
