08 Maxima A/C problem

I have an 08 Maxima. The AC blows cold air when the AC is on, turn it off it still continues to blow nonstop air. Anyone have any idea what could cause this issue? What I can do to fix it? Thank you for whom maybe able to help!

so even if you turn off your a/c all together the blower keeps blowing? I have a few other questions. like
do you have auto a/c?
can you adjust the blower speed?

It could be as simple as your switch being broken. Take a multimeter and test the switch. The voltage should change when you move the fan speed up and the circuit should cut off completely.

If you find out the problem do post it here so we can all learn from it.

The blower does keep blowing, it does have a auto a/c...with adjusting the blower speed are you asking abt changing up or down on the fan? The fan arrows up or down does not work. I did just order a a/c control panel. We will see how that works. Give me just a few days for it to come in. I left work in suck a rush I left my multimeters. You guys ROCK!!! Thank you for your thoughts on this issue.
