Passenger door mirror
Hey all,
So my wife apparently did not like her side mirror on passanger door, so while backing out of the garage she took it off, lol. Here is my question, Her car only has power mirror. They are not heated and don't fold away. I ordered the mirror, but I got one with the heat option by accident, are the connectors inside the door the same. I would assume they are. Assumptions are the mother of all screw ups.

They are..
I too just went thru this (driver side), only I opted for aftermarket (and saved about 400 bucks).
Nevertheless I struggled finding one with POWER FOLDING - which puts it on the higher end of aftermarket ones.
Upon getting it I noticed the little squiggles on the mirror glass (heat indicator), but after disassembling the door, removing the old & comparing both = identical by the way, don't pay a mechanic. - it's a 25 min job & you'll save big time.
Lemme know if need be & I'll post the how-to video link
Now I wonder, since I don't have a switch to turn on "mirror defrost" if my mirror is in a constant state of defrost?!?
Good luck.. Lemme know how it goes

No. I know how to remove the door panel. Thank you for the response. And no, your mirror would not be on defrost mode. The stock connection would not have the pins for defrost. Unless u have the sl. I only have the SE. Or should I say she has the SE, everything we own became my wife's after we got married so many years ago. That's ok, I push buttons and she tells me to in the garage, which is my man cave. And yes it has a t.v and a fully stocked fridge.lmfao
