steerng wheel buttons on left side stopped working!

steerng wheel buttons on left side stopped working!
my audio controls on my steering wheel stopped working, but all the cruise functions still work..

any ideas?

It can be the switch itself thats bad

What the hell? mine did too I can only turn the volume up it wont go down. When the car is off and parked in the garage it functions properly.

It could also be a bad clock spring, if its not the switch

yea, i had a friend sitting in my car and she was playing with the volume with the wheel clocked fully one way and it worked, so clock spring then?
