Controlling uphifts

Hay all

Been doing some testing in my 6th gen auto. Manually upshifting at higher rpm is a fair bit quicker in my 4sp it hits the next gear in the power band We'res u leave it in drive it'll lag for Abit then hit its power band. But it's way to hard manual shifting sometimes it just dosent work. So my question is when tuning your car can u change it to upshift at a higher rpm?

Cheers kurt
