I have the aftermarket IPW's and I am currently having this problem. All the other signals (L, R, brake) are working fine. I've check the connections and all looks good. The front left is blinking really fast while the rear is not blinking at all. This problem I'm having is happening intermittently. When ever I hit a bump on the road the problem appears. Do I have a loose connection somewhere or something else is happening? Your input please

either you have a lose connection (use a volt meter to find it)

or what it really sounds like is your filament is broken and when you hit a bump it detaches from the wire, (light goes off) the electricity then causes a static attraction moving the filament back to complete the circuit. in other words you need to replace the bulb. i've seen this happen many times.

similar thing happened to a 250watt street lamp i replaced. The solder broke that connected the power to the gas tube. when the light turned on the metal wire got hot and expanded causing the wire that touched the gas tube to detach, when it cooled the metal contracted and the wire went back. light turned on and off like clockwork. the hotter it was outside the faster the cycle. i doubt that is your problem, small gauge wire doesn't expand or contract like that unless you have HIDs where the wires are a lot thicker.

any ways go spend a few buck on a new bulb and report back. I don't know what IPW's are and a google search doesn't display anything. but if they are LED's then there is no filament and you have a connection problem.

i had the exact same problem a few weeks ago. i just pulled the taillight off and fiddled with the connections a little bit. for some reason, it started working again. it's probably a loose connection that needs a little bit of a tug to put back in place.

I remember on the older vehicles the blinker would do that whenever you had a bad bulb. Before you start pulling everything apart go for the cheapest fix first.

If you pull out the taillight, be careful to not scratch the paint on the bumper cover at the bottom of the light--I had to protect my 6th gen cover with masking tape before pulling the light. Don't know about your model...

Pull the tail light and spread the contact points apart in the bulb socket and on the tail light side.
