vht taillights?

I want to do it myself but I'm not good at spraying. You know what shops can do it for me?

My choice goes to the above too and plus, in case you get into some sort of issue. Then you can have it removed or if you want to re-tint it than that's simple too.

IMO spraying your tails down isn't the best idea.

I just refinished mine with niteshades today. I havent seen any taillights with actual tint on them since my explorer forum days but I can say that VHT doesnt look bad when done correctly. However, the removal is a pain so if you are worried about getting pulled over or ticketed, go with a tint. If you dont have any worries, go for the spray.

BTW, I think bluebatmobile (sp?) has some precut tints for our taillights. Ive never ordered from him, but Ive heard good things.

I did mine.. very happy with it.

Just took both tails out..
Cleaned them both with isopropyl alcohol..
Made circle cutouts for the reverse lights I didn't want to tint..
Sprayed them down with about 3 light coats til i had the desired shade..
Let them dry.. then clear coated about 3-4 coats..

put some wax on them and called it a day. I get a lot of compliments about them. I wish I had some good pictures somewhere here.

No problem, you made the right choice. It looks good there and plus, haven't seen anyone else on the 6th gen forum do that.
