Changed my Wheel Color

So I decided to change my wheel color from black to Gun Metal. Sanded them down then 3 coats of Sandable Primer, then sanded with 320 grit. Followed by 5 coats of Graphite/Gun Metal and then 4 coats of clear. All products were from Rustoleum, my Auto Zone did not have Dupli Color. I think them came out pretty good.

i'm confused as to why you sanded down the primer? looks good though, would have went a different color, maybe bronze or gold

I think gunmetal looks better on a grey max. But this Black max looks good to tho. +1

Agreed, but definitely still looks good. I like the contrast between the car and the wheels. Gold would look killer...

The ride looks GOOD!! I really like the choice of color that you chose man. Personally think that the gunmetal compliments all the black that you got on the ride. You did a good job painting them too.

Looks good, thats almost the color they were before.

Painting the lips would make them look even better/bigger IMO.

Thanks for all the coments..I was a hard decision on the color I thought about Bronze/Gold, those colors would make the car stand out more but not sure if I wanted that look. Thanks again..

You did a great job on those rims, it's a great contrast of the two, I wouldn't change anything!

Nice. I did this to my OE rims a few years back. Of all of my mods, this was my masterpiece
