A dare at last!!! Grand Sport Stripes on my 6thgen
#161
Dang!!! This is the 3rd time I am seeing ads placed by other people with my car on it. I have seen 2 ads from 2 different states on craigslist selling the 7thgen rims with my car posted on there. Is this crazy or what?
None of these guys even belong to any of our orgs, so I really get confused. But I really don't like them using my car. May have to email this seller as I always do email them about my pic.

Thought they swiped a pick of your car:

I'm not a big fan of putting racing numbers on cars....especially 4 door family sedans like Chrysler does on the Chargers. Pin Stripes are nice when done properly but the two stripes on the fender are more of a subjective thing...I would have done grey scale gradations myself.

I just had this idea and decided to update this thread with what design I currently have on the drawing board. I am still trying to decide to modify this design, come up with a new one or just bring this design to maturity by doing it.

If I ever see a car with numbers on it I will never take him serious. It's really not necessary to trademark your whip with over-sized decals. Only a nascar should have a number that big afixed to the car. No wonder why nobody takes the 6thgens seriously

That black gas cap looks terrible too. Its out of place and looks like you went to pick a part and stole the cap off a black maxima and were too poor to match the color back to stock. Remove it.

Too much negativity? exactly, I don't typically join in excessive idea and creativity bashing but two things, First i don't like you, second, your ideas really are terrible. the last time we talked you got on me for my language like i was a kid in your preschool, i asked you nicely to leave me alone and you didn't. now take all my twenty eggs of wrath. i don't like you, and all the effort i put into helping you when you first joined has turned into scorn. lay in the bed you ruffled! It can only get worse for you to continue.
Something positive: i like your rims.
Somthing helpful: Get rid of those RED tail lights if your going to put black all over your car, it looks like santa clause got drunk and slayed prancer in a high speed crash over the *** end of your car.
Something truthful: stop acting on your ideas, they aren't good ones.
Something to learn: Don't correct a grown mans language. You will catch hell and is 100% what inspired my replies. You coulda done without right?

In Herbie's defense, that was a horrible remake of the original movie.

Thanks a lot for all the comments guys. I take it all as constructive criticism. This is all photoshop, and if I do it, it would be just vinyl that I can take off. This thread is "a dare thread" I did. So, if I do this it would still be a dare and since it is vinyl, if I truly do it I can take it off any time.

Unfortunately I wouldn't do that just because it might convey the wrong message and also because it is not what I would want on my car. If it was what was on my drawing boards and what I admired, I would go do it to my car and take it off when I deemed necessary.
You know we all mod our cars based on what we want because it is YOUR car. Some people might like it or some people might bash it. The one thing to remember is not to let it bother you at all. One great way to approach it is to thank the ones you wish to thank and ignore others since you cannot respond to everybody who comments about your post. Avoid confrontation for it can only escalate, not deescalate. Instead of arguing or fighting with an ignorant person on the org, always be the mature one and respond only to comments that matter to you and ignore the rest. Life is so much peaceful that way, you have no idea.

I was sticker bombing my cars 15+ years ago before anyone else was doing it. I got many different types of reactions from it. Funny that something that I thought was unique back then is now something that is popular to do with the young kids. Go figure. Nowadays I save all my stickers/decals I get and put them in a box. I thought about sticker bombing my mini fridge, but it's old as dirt and it would probably break after I did it.

It would be like me putting painting BREMBO on my car when i have stock brakes...
the only difference is more people tend to equate the NISMO brand to its literal meaning, Nissan motor sports rather than the fact they are the nissan aftermarket company and a brand name. It just goes to show you don't know very much about the aftermarket world.
Proof of that is when you bought your r2c intake and then sold it because you thought it was hurting your gas mileage despite ALL the input of your peers and solid evidence that AM air intakes improve gas mileage.

He asked because you are trying to sport NISMO on your car like you have aftermarket performance parts by NISMO...

No, I don't have any Nismo parts.
As for the R2c intake I truly did not like it based on my own personal review so I had to sell it. Sold it to another org member who bought it at a great deal. My loss his gain. So, it is ok how on the org here some people buy some things, change their minds (or use the thing for a couple of months or more) and sell it for a cheaper price to some other people who buy at a good deal.
But its not a big deal as if I ever get interested in any new product, it is only to save money and make a purchase. Not a very bad idea.
I buy things for my car that I am interested in and can save and afford. My most current is my Redline radar detector that I just bought for $582.00. But then again, I can return it back to Escort or sell it if I wanted to.
