Deus solos with an orchestra

I have been a little pre-occupied lately with one of my other hobbies: playing the cello. I play cello with the Claremont Symphony as a serious hobby. I have dreamed of soloing with an orchestra since I was a kid, and that dream was fulfilled on March 14, 2010. In case you arent sure what Im talking about, the picture and the youtube videos should be self-explanatory. I just wanted to share with my 6th Gen brethren. So before the mods bounce this thread to the dungeons of the forum, check it out and comment - good or bad.

Youtube vid showing about 2 minutes of the 30 performance:

As a 19 year old who listens to what 19 year olds listen to, I do enjoy classical music, and you earn so much respect for that.

Now what I'm trying to picture is what one looks like pulling a cello case out of a modded Maxima. It's comical to me

Thanks very much guys. I just wanted to share with you another hobby that is a big part of my life, like modding my Max. The other members of the orchestra get a kick out of the car. They always know when Im pulling up cuz they hear the roar of the car. It does look odd when a guy in a tux is pulling a cello out of the trunk of a very modified car.

Wow, never would've guessed that. Always love listening to the cello, my favorite stringed orchestra instrument. I played in full orchestra in high school (on the wind side) and loved every minute of it. Great job!

wow I would have never put your face to your car in a million years. You look like a hitman for a mob or something. Ohh do you have any good band camp stories? Step aside Andre Rieu.

Well my hair was longer for the concert. I cut it since then and look more like this:

Orchestra people were dorkier and dont have any stories.
