Which version of the GTR front bumper can be found on ebay?

Forgive me if I failed in searching but I couldn't find anything.

Are those flaws found on the bumpers sold on ebay, like this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...Q5fAccessories

Also, I know that it needs to be modified for 07/08's to line up with the hood, but what about the headlights?

That is hard to answer but why not save money and keep the oem front end, and in the future get a 6.5 lip from Edgar. You have a pretty nice set-up, im pretty sure your car can pull off the gtr bumper just as long as the imperfections(if any) arent too noticeable.

Thanks man. Yeah, I'm just lookin at all my options. I think the GTR bumper would look way better but at a bigger cost. $300 doesn't seem bad though for the gtr bumper, and I could probably pick it up and hopefully wave the $125 for shipping.

the bumper is the same. thats Edgars car they are showing in the ebay pic. as for fitment on an 07/08..... as far as i know, i dont think it will line up correctly. they were trying to get a group of 6.5ers together that would make the group deal for production to happen... but it fell through... i think that it wouldnt be worth the time and money that it will end up costing to modify it... i agree, it will look amazing! but it will cost a lot of money to get it fabricated to the 6.5 gen.

if you do it the right way, the lip is only going to be half of that size. Just a heads up. I did it to my GTR bumper a while back.

I think he used something else, Kronicks. You probably used the rubber weatherstripping. Dstruc used that stuff that seperates rocks and stuff, for yards. Whats that stuff called again dstruc? I think you edited where you told us what you used.

thanks again!

wait dstruc you did use the yard stuff right? not the weatherstripping stuff? I swear that you said you used that **** that seperates rocks and stuff for yards.. but now i dont see that post. im just wondering cause that link you posted talks about garage door weatherstripping.

i just want it to be as big as it is in your pics.

thanks

lol thanks man i must have been really high last night when i thought you used the **** that you use for yards.

so when you put it on upside down, was there a big difference in size? cause kronickz said it will be half the size when applied right.

Here's a pic of mine:

(i think)I got a different type of weatherstripping than you did, dstruc. I didn't mean to, but I didn't notice until I finished. I love the way mine looks. It said it was closer to 2.5in, I think. And I glued the top of it directly to the bottom of my bumper, so the full 2.5in is showing. I'm still going to paint it, and maybe adjust it a tiny bit, but for less than $15 bucks im very satisfied! Thanks dstruc!

yup. It could come off it I wanted it to, but not by accident. And if I wanted to take it off(like when max2damax's lip is ready), i'll just sand off the remaining glue residue.

I'd be afraid of doin that... i mean sanding the bumper at all cuz it scratches the paint.. and drillin holes into it... i mean, it looks good, no doubt about that... but just me, i wouldnt drill or glue anything on.. but seriously it looks good.

Thanks! I'm not too worried about who's going to be looking under my bumper. Especially since from now on, there will either be the home depot lip or the max2damax lip covering it.

Thanks man!! I'm glad we managed to help eachother out.. you had the idea of using the home depot lip, but i smoked a joint on my way to home depot and ended up getting the completely wrong thing, lol.

Here's a picture of the stuff I got:

(there was some other stuff that looked identical to this but might be a little thicker, or stronger. if you see it, get it.)

I did the sideskirts with the new stuff I bought last night:

thanks again dstruc! hope that helps.. good luck! the stuff I got was somewhere between $10 and $15 and I got 2. for the lip, you will just need one.

yes, its foam. Foams the best IMO cause if it scrapes, nothing bad happens. The worst thing that could happen is they get ruined and you are out $10.
