Whining / Squeeking noise on Startup

When I start the car in the morning I have this loud noise coming from the engine which sounds like squeaking/high pitched noise as if the belts are in bad condition. But after 5 minutes or so this noise disappears. I have an 07 SL. Also this does not happen everyday, but about once a week or so (sometimes less). I'm not sure what triggers it to come sometimes and not others. So is this also TSB NTB07-042a on the timing chain tensioners? Reason I ask if it is the same TSB because if I'm not mistaken people consistently have the noise while driving, so wondering if I maybe have a minor case of the problem and it will only get worse, and I want to make sure to eliminate the problem before warranty ends.

Thanks.

HELP ME 2004 MAX ACTING UP AGAIN

hey guys im having the same problem with my timing chain it seems like with my 04 maxima. After reading around it looks like my timing chain is whats making that rattling noise, i took it to a mechanic and he said he would have to pull the engine out in order to replace the timing chain. The thing is that the car is eating a lot of oil it looks like, he put in 3 quarts and the oil was just changed a couple months back, after adding the oil it doesnt make noise after its been revved a few times, only when cold start or idle. He suggested I use lucas oil stabalizer next time it goes lower.

Does anyone know how to fix this, when i read online it looks like people tried using fuel injection cleaner and they "purged their engine" and that worked. Btw how do you purge an engine for this car. Otherwise its going to be pretty expensive, anyone know a good mechanic to do this for cheap hopefully in the socal area? thanks a lot guys

I had this happen on my sentra back in the day and it was due to the wrong tension on the belts. Especially loud when cold. After a couple seconds (probably hundreds of revolutions) the belt would warm up and stretch and the noise would go away.

Is this OK for the car or can it and should it be fixed?

Also if my warranty for engine expires at 60K and timing chain tensioner TSB was never done, is there anything I can do to get it done before 60K in order for me not to have the problem after 60K and then have no warranty.

i hear bg 109 and moa are supposed to be good to use, apparently if u use it before 75k theyll warranty your engine for life up to 2 grand and if its before 36k theyll do up to 4 grand, anyone try using these and see if theyre timing chain noise stopped?

so therefore it is a timing belt tensioner TSB issue only when there is a noise while driving and not only on startup?

That really is my biggest fear since I don't want the tensioner TSB problem to start right after I hit 60K miles. Especially after hearing how expensive it is to fix.
