The hub bolt holes on the hat were not re-drilled. Only a hubcentric spacer was used on the hat to center the rotor on the maxima hub. The caliper did not have to be shaved inside however i did so there would be 100% of pad contact on the surface of the rotor. So you can leave the 300zx caliper stock but you will have pad overhang. Shims and washers were used to center the rotor and the caliper since the original designer did not make the brackets the proper thickness. I ran this set-up for more then a year.
Here are pics of it on a 4.5 gen maxima that uses the suspension components of a 5.5 gen.

I have the same calipers. I do not believe these will fit. Matt Blehm or Jeff can probably chime in to verify.

My neighbor with a TTZ has this setup , the bracket does NOT fit , we tried it on my car already..

Plus Z1 is a ripped off ,if you read the things theyve done on TT.net and other Z fourms you be shocked.

I had it out with Adam and few others speed shops down here had issue with him.

you can pick up Cobra rotors from Advance auto , you will need to shave a bit off the caliper so that you can run the 13 inch rotor and use the FULL FACE of the brake pad.

Right now your current using 80% of it correct ? when you replace the pads usually you see the top edge still there. Thus why you need to grind the caliper 1mm down. But thats with the 13inch rotors.
Do not grind it if your using the 12.6 rotors or else you might get some viberation'

EDIT : You can sort of see the 13 inch rotors.

Same Blitz Wheels at the one on Z1 site, Its been powdercoated.

So just to clarify - on an 04-08 Maxima with the Blehmco brackets and Z32 calipers, you CAN install the 13" two piece rotors but ONLY IF you shave the caliper 1 mm or so?

I did notice that the full pad is not used but its probably more like 5% is unused. Its like a sliver on top of the pad that gets unworn. I wonder if the Brembo 350Z rotor would fit as it is 12.8" and it might use the whole pad.

I have 2 piece rotors from fastbrakes.com, 13.25" & 12.9", maybe if the rotor height is known fastbrakes may have an adapter plate for it. Questions are free!
