Dual Exhaust Muffler 4 08 Maxima

I was looking through the forum for the stillen exhaust then came across a post that suggested dual exhaust which is what i have now, stock. Now I wanna stick to dual. I looked up some youtube videos and saw one with the magnaflow exhaust on an 04 and it sounded really great. But I can't find them for an 08. Can anyone direct me to where I can purchase these? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Just pick out a style you like and buy them.

The Magnaflows are just mufflers. I have the 14816's on mine and love them.

Pick up a couple and have a muffler shop weld them on.

You're not gonna find something specifically for an 08 Maxima...

I'm still sorting through the options, but how do the magnaflows sound? I'm looking for a mellower, deep note and trying to avoid the drone. I don't want something all that loud, the wife has to drive this car too. I've had the Magna's on V8's but not sure on a V6.

Yes perfect, I have them as well just make sure to keep your resonator to defeat the drone. I put a 22" resonator on and it's great.

For some reason I can't start a new thread so I figured I would ask it here. Does anyone know if this will fit an 04-06 Maxima?

Doubt it. Any muffler shops around you? Just go get a custom system with whatever mufflers you'd like.

I want to do the Magnaflo 14862s. Just trying to save some money. Just curious how much it will cost for those mufflers and to cut out the pre-silencer.

I'd keep the stock resonator on. It'll be too loud without it. Magnaflow keeps a tight ship as far as their mufflers are concerned. The cheapest you can get those for is $191 and some change.

Any local muffler shop can weld them on for pretty cheap.

***EDIT***

Sorry... the Magnaflow model you are looking for... the cheapest I could find is $223.

Check out the 14816:

That's the one I priced originally.

That's what I did, 14816's and the shop ran the 2.5" piping to a 22" Magnaflow resonator...

That looks perfect. So you simply welded these on the stock exhaust system?

Is it possible you can make a video to hear how this setup sound?

Seams like a great looking and cheap solution.

Thanks

Yeah, all you need to do is have them welded on in place of the stock mufflers. Shouldn't cost you more than $50 at any muffler shop.

Check out Youtube for "Maxima Magnaflow".

Cheap, as in labor, yes... but those specific mufflers go for $191.xx each.
