New grill and clean rear (finally)

I finally got my lazy @ss to get up and debadge the damn rear. Standard tools were used (wife's hairdryer and fishing line). I must say - a few people thought that I looked like a wierdo sitting on the driveway with a hairdryer turned on for like 45 mins, but who cares!

The wife ordered me the grill and to my surprise it came in 4 days!!!!

Let me know what you guys think -> couple of pics below

I think you're picture taking skills suck, both shots cutoff half the car on both sides. Otherwise, that's the best looking color Maxima I've seen...is that factory or did you repaint?

Thanks and ouch at the same time buddy - pictures were taken with the wife's amazing iPhone...

color is A19 (sunset orange or lemans sunset) i have been told by the stealership either name works - never repainted, however the car has seen wax twice a year since I got it and I live in a condo so it stays underground most of the time.

thanks buddy - yeah, reason why I ended up going with the c-mod one is first price and 2nd ActiveTuning never has stock...EVER, and most of the guys have the c-mod and and pretty happy with the outcome.

will do guys - all depends on my pocket and which one will sit lower - i spoke to my car guy and he said he can "get" a set of each and we can try 'em out to see how they sit on the max (not sure how he is getting the damn springs, but I don't ask) all i do is bring the damn corona and some peking duck

will deff. let you know the outcome

Gianniali, Lovin' the color!

If you tint the tails, please post some pics. I was considering it but I did not know if it would look good on my color.

ebay buddy - search for c-mod (chinese guy that sells 'em) some guys here said that it takes like 3-4 weeks to get the damn gril, but from order placement to obtaining the grill it took like a week max.

Hey guys I bought a top and bottom Grille for my 04 Max and now I'm confused on how to put the bottom piece on.. Should I cut out the bottom and custom fit it ? or Do you just place the new grille ontop the factory part like the directions say? Anybody done this? I'm thinking bout cutting to a custom fit to make it look better..

nice thread jack dude!

btw - what do you mean "place on top of the factory part" is it a layover or an actual new grill ?

My bad I'm new to the site...

It seems to me that it's a layover instead of what I wanted.. Now I'm gonna try and cut out the plastic bottom fender and custom fit the lower part of the grill in place.. Has any one done this?

I'm looking for a stock grille for my 04SL. The factory finish is coming off. Anyone out there with one laying around, let me know.
