I just got finished with my complete LED swap in my 07 SE. These pics were taken this afternoon, 85 degrees and full sun. I will get some night pics up as soon as the sun goes down. I didn't take pics of all of the switches yet, because you really can't see them due to the sunshine.
Here are the pics of the speedo cluster. You'll notice that there are NO hotspots. There is a very nice factory diffuser plate behind the gauge overlay that does a wonderful job!
I changed the turn signal LEDs to blue, and any of the idiot lights that were orange are now blue. I'll get more pics at dusk, the sun is too bright to see all of the switches. I swapped out the LEDs in the following pieces:
front/rear door switches
HVAC controls
HVAC display screen
Driver info screen
NIRD-01 keypad
Steering wheel buttons (cruise/radio buttons)
Speedo cluster
Switch panel to left of steering column (dimmer/rear sonar/power mirrors/traction control switches)
Passenger Airbag light
I'd like to thank the couple members here that gave me some help along the way, I won't mention names so they don't get bombarded with questions. I'd also like to mention my buddy Tim, the soldering wizard! He got me started, and also came along to help and give guidance when I had trouble!
I didn't do anything with the orange hash marks, I left them on the gauge overlay. You'll notice that you really can't see them with the tinted gauge cover over the gauges. I'll see how they look tonight when it gets dark. Stay tuned...more pics to come tonight! I also swapped ALL of my interior lights to LEDs. It's been a busy week!
someone please post a diy at your own risk thread on this.... parts list and how to access the leds in some spots would be extremely helpful. if one of u lived here in hawaii i would have allready paid u to show me how to do it.
Nice looking work. Did you ever find what to replace the ignition light with?
Yes, a #74 bulb. Autolumination has the widest selection. They are just a little bit longer than the stock bulb, so hopefully the one I ordered will fit. I'll post some pics of that as soon as it gets here.

I've got about 10 hours into the gauge/switch/speedo LED conversion. The first 4 hours my buddy was helping me, and we were taking it veeeerrrry slowly, and double/triple checking everything. After that it moved along pretty well. I spent a couple hours on 2 different nights and got it all finished up.

I would post a DIY, but because guys here are offering this as a service, I don't want to disrespect them, or their craft. I will say it is very tedious, but not hard. You need a steady hand and good eyesight ! I bought a magnifying lense, but I didn't use it because looking through it and trying to work made me dizzy! You can't be afraid to take your car apart, and you have to realize that there is a very real possibility that you may screw something up, and if you do, you'll have to replace it. I checked Ebay, and found that the parts I wanted to modify were available for replacement, so I figured I'd give it a try.
Is it just me, or does the 04-06 interior look better? 07 reminds me of an altima.
My wife has an 07 Altima, and the Max doesn't remind me of the Altima at all. I thought the Altima was a really nice car until I bought the Max, now the Altima feels "cheap" to me. The Altima has more rattles than any car has a right to have. It doesn't bother my wife in the least, but it drives me nuts. I had a couple different rattles in the Max, but I hunted them down and took car of them.
1hawaii50, Ya ryde look'z freak'n sexy bro.. Very clean.. So what'z next..? LoL.. Remember, this is why your wife is alwayz mad at you.. LoL..
Weeeeellllllll....I just got my switchbacks and reverse lights from VLEDs. I tried to put in the front switchbacks, but there's no way these suckers are going in without dropping the bumper. I'm hoping to have time today to pull the bumper, so I can pull the headlights to install them. Once they are in, I'll put in the reverse lights, and wire in the resistors. While I have the bumper down, I'm going to install the HID kit in the fog lights (I bought an H11 HID kit about a year ago for her car, and she doesn't want it, and it just so happens that our fogs are H11 ). I also just got my G2 caliper painting kit. I'm hoping on my days off that maybe I can get that done! I'm also still hoping for window tint, but I'm having a hard time finding a reputable shop to do it.
I respect you for not wanting to step on anyones toes as far as posting a how too. Is there anyway you could just post what bulbs you used for each application. That would help those of us that want to try this on our own.
Thanks
it's slightly more complicated that just 'bulbs'... at least for the gauges I know he used a combo of several different LEDs including PLCC-2, PLCC-4, 0805... he used 3mm LEDs for most of the non-gauge lighting. 5mm's would work as well, I've done that. Either or.

There were approximately 100-120 LED's involved. There were only 3-3mm leds involved, all of the rest were surface mount LED's. I'm not sure how many of which type are used for the 2004-2006, as they MAY be slightly different, I'm not sure.
