i painted the calipers on my other cars before with the dupli-color kits they have at auto-zone and they came out okay. Recently i tried the G2 caliper kit on the max and i must say, it looks alot better. the G2 kit also comes with a lifetime warranty against flaking & chips. Can't get any better than that.
Nice nice. Love yellow calipers with blk rims; reminds me of Bruce Wayne's lambo in the dark knight, LOL.
Once I get some new rims ima definitely get my calipers painted, but I plan on getting em powder coated though
you might get some **** for that, I prefer powdercoat too but some say that it doesnt transfer heat as well so your brakes will take longer to cool and what not, but hey looks better then paint

Reason i'd rather powder coat than just going with the regular brake paint kit is cause the rims I'm planning on picking up are really gonna show off the calipers. . .
Just get different type of calipers that are allready shiny and what not. It has been done and would probably be more cost effective and work better than what you allready have. like 4 piston vice 2 <--stock. better grip and looks better. shop around and do a search.
Back to topic. That yellow looks real nice. I think this kit looks a little glossier than mine. Might redue my calipers with that kit. Where did you get the nismo stencil don't mind me asking? Can hardly see my calipers but this is how mine came out with the duplicolor kit.
it looks real sick man. Im gettin black rims and then my next project is gonna be paintin the calipers black.... Isn't too difficult is it? and how much is the kit that you got?
I used the dupli-color high temp engine spray black and clear. mine turned out great, and has lasted. It was easy to mask off too while it was on the car. I used 55 gallon drum liners and taped them around the rotors and shocks and then did a little taping on the caliper itself and went to town

they were somewhat of a dull black, and I was not too fond of that, so I took care of it if it was flat black it would have been fine, but it was dull. I am not sure if they all come that way, but I got these from another altima owner who had them for a little while and maybe they lost their color, but they look good now and that's all that matters

Wow! Very nice. You did them while they were still on the car? Did you clean them up first?
yea, I took some de-greaser on a rag and wiped them down, then scrubbed them with a wire detail brush(the size of a toothbrush), wiped them down, and then got to masking. When it comes time to re-paint them I will use the same method I did with the drum liner because it was quick and very easy. Before I painted them, I put vaseline on the raised lettering so that after I painted over everything I could just wipe off the letters good as new
