I had a guy hit me a little over a month ago, and had to replace my rear bumper. The body shop luckily did a great job painting it the first time.

Will the 07 bumper with sensors work on a 06 that didnt have backup sensors previously? Im about to get the 6.5 rear bumper and would like to have the sensors if it doesnt require to much extra modification. Not to thread jack but does anyone know about this?

I bought my 07 last year, and a few weeks ago, I noticed that the paint on the front bumper cover was bubbling up. I called the dealership, and took them the car to show them. They reluctantly agreed to fix it "at their cost" as I had "bought a used car". They have some moron that comes in on Mondays and has some sort of "mobile paint" shop. They said he touches up all of their used cars and does a fantastic job. I picked the car up and noticed a few days later as the car sat in my garage, that the color of the bumper is WAAAYYYY off from the color of the fender. My car is radiant silver. The bumper has a more copper look to it whereas the fender is a bright silver. I took the car to the body shop that my dealership uses, and they told me "that is normal, it most likely didn't match before and you only notice it now because you had it fixed". If the car is in direct sunlight, it looks close. If the car is in the shade, it looks WWWAAAAYYY off. Funny thing is, I had my CMOD grille painted by a local custom shop and they took my VIN code to get a paint match. When my grille was ready, they helped me drill the holes and install it, and to my surprise THE PAINT ON THE GRILLE MATCHES MY HOOD COLOR PERFECTLY! They also looked at the bumper and told me that it is very tough to get a color match, especially on a silver car. They then advised me that it did not appear that they prepped the bumper properly, and that it would probably start peeling within a year. I'm guessing I'll be taking them the bumper back in the summer if I have some spare cash. I said all of that to say this, if the shop knows what they are doing, it will match. My bumper color is off enough, that even if it doesn't start to peel, I'm going to have it repainted because it really bothers me!

yeah my front bumber was redone and I have a very nice match. There is a code the painter should have gotton form nissan that gives the the right amont of mixture for your paint color. Then he should have sanded and buffed the whole car to give the whole thing a fresher look.
