Headlight question...

This might seem like a strange/stupid question but...

I noticed that in the headlights of my 07 there seems to be an extra bulb. You have the Headlight(of course) the amber turn signal and right next to the HL there is a single clear bulb.It looks like maybe a 3156/57.I cant figure out how to turn this bulb on.Can someone shed a little light for me(no pun intended )??

Yeah, it's the corning light. The only way to turn it on is to have the headlights on, and turn on the turn signal. It shoots light into that direction, so you can see the curb you're about to hit when driving at night. I'm surprised you're just now noticing it...

I always did notice that the signals were bright but I never really looked into why.I just happen to see them and didnt remeber seeing them on before.

What kind of "cool" bulbs is everyone putting in there?

I put these in mine. They look great when on, light up way more of the road than the OEM, and they match the HID's very closely. The downside is you see blue in the housing during the day. I can live with it, but if you're going for a specific look when parked, these could make you miserable:
