07-08 maxima front lip prototyping.

There are still a couple of guys who were on the original list, but I still haven't received the money, you name will be put in here once that happens, you will still get the $200 price, and so does anyone who joins by this weekend, but after that price will be $250.

This is the final design, everything is pretty much ready to go, a semi final prototype should be ready by next weekend.

This is the list of people who have already paid. Thank you all.

Yo, i dont remember if your black Max is lowered. Do you need ground to bumper measurments?

Im actually going to use miguel's max to do the initial mock up, and then do a test fit a week later. so we should be fine, im sure the lip won't be more than 2"

Yea I'lle be adding Stillenside skirts when I get the lip on, however I don't think I'll be doing a rear bumper/ lip i wanna keep the Cattman mufflers shiny in the rear for all to see/ envy. Perhaps if a VERY sleek/ modest lip for the rear was developed it would look good but that would have to be a hell of a design IMO.

i agree. it'd have to be just right. i realy like the 07-08 bumpers with the textured black in the middle. which id want to keep/add to in the design.

ill take some pics of the rear of the car soon for a dead on shot, and maybe start messing around with some PS

That would be sick for the 04-06 maxima.... i dont think it would look right on a 07-08 bumper.

It bolts right on too. Just need to shave the underneath part which takes 5 minutes.

hate to be the first to critique, but it looks the hole/slit is upside down compared to the photochop. are you still able to flip that?

keep it up though. can't wait for the final design.

thanks again.

stillen makes a lip kit for the 04-06 max.

no one makes a lip for the 07-08 max. thats what this thread is about. a lip that we are having made for us.

I think the Lip is upside down in the pic, at least it is compared to the original design. Keep up the good work.

yea you guys were right is was upside down, I kind of mixed it up cause that is the way that lip was designed, now the update.
It might not look like much but I got the bracket to keep the lip lined up done (I actually got side tracked for most of the after noon so only have about 4 hours of work into this right now), I lined up parts of the lip to the lines of the bumper and they go along nicely, tomorrow I will finish the bracket and bolting on the rest of the lip pieces, during the week I'll be doing the fine detail with foam clay and maybe some fiberglass.

no pics but here is a video

flowers are blooming, and lips are coming together , it might not look like much but the upper shape is done (just waiting for the glue and the foam to dry), the rest will just extrude down, so Miguel can pick up his car and I shall continue on with my duty.

yea pretty much, I have to put the rear and front pieces of the lip I bought within that frame, go buy some clay for the details, and secure the frame a lil more to make sure it stays true during the journey to get the mold made.

I'll post some pics later today, but don't expect much , I have been waiting for my modeling clay to get here, but I guess it won't happen this weekend, so I can do the fine detail I was hoping to show today or tomorrow.

i hope with this lip, it looks level from the side. back in the civic days, most body kits angled upwards and it didnt look too good.

ok, guys still doesn't look 100% like a lip but the most important thing is there, which is a strong frame with the right lines , Im hoping to start filling in the center of it tomorrow with the lip pieces I have and some foam and clay to fill up, let me know what you guys think.
