I regret not getting more agressive 17's for my winter set up. I regret getting this rims as my winter rims the first time around. It was almost impossible to keep the polished lip clean.
Similar regret on my part. I should have covered my headlights with a wet clothe during the baking process. I didn't realize it but I must have slightly melted the lens. It had to be buffed out, it's not noticable unless you walk up to the headlight to look for it. I also think that heating them up may weaken the outer coating because now my headlights are getting scratched, like from washing and drying where as before they never did, ever. I'll probably have to do a Meguires Plastix or something to clean them up.
AFTER BUFFING: I do not regret my switchback or covering up the yellow reflector in my headlights though.

I regret not getting inchannel vent visors first time around...., i regret ordering a cheaper brand carbon fiber door sill off ebay rather than the real thing the first time...and i regret not getting 20's the first time instead of 19's...
so now that Storm Shadow has "grown up some"..what can you say but you live and you learn..NEW RIMS SHOULD HERE TOMORROW!

Regret cutting the lower part of the bumper and installing fogs. Took them out for good but had to keep it covered with the billet grille. Sometimes I regret buying the maxima because I'm more performance oriented than "Pimp" oriented. I don't want to sit back while rolling on Dubs with one hand on the wheel. Takes way to much money to get it to even handle better, so I have to settle for straight line. Don't want to have a roll over accident.

If you use it, don't abuse it.
I put to many coats on my tail lights and the police weren't happy.
It's also important to not put it on headlights because it turns purple.
Get tint lay overs or plastic covers.
I had to replace all four lights around and side markers

+1 i was behind a early foxbody mustang today and they tinted the CRAP out of their lights to the point where they hit the brakes and i had to strain my eyes to even see that they were lit up. pre-87 so no CHMSL either.... would have been a nice insurance payout if he'd slammed on his brakes in front of me cuz his illegal tail lights would have caused it to be his fault.

Yours was one of my favorites, that big black stripe makes the car look likea Vagina.

You can regret buying it LOL
Which brings me to my point... and please don't hate... but I regret buying the 2005 Maxima. I wish at that time I would have went with a 350z or G35coupe but what's done is done... now i want the 2010 maxima. I love the new shape only thing that sucks is the CVT and no 6 speed manual option

Depending on your age and driving record it could have costed you quite a bit more in insurance for a Z or G35C. I was 21 when I bought this car and had to forget about the coupes because most were priced on the lot atleast 5k over my maxima and the insurance would have set me back too much at the time. That was my reason atleast.
