Well first off, you will be sitting 2" lower so you'll be more susceptible to scraping it. Other than that, should have no affect whatsoever!

Little question about the wheel offset here. I bought eibach springs and i want to buy the Tenzo-R Type M Version 2 wheel they are 19 * 8.5 with and the offset is 45. Will they fit the car or the tire will rub with the fenders ??

Thanks

They will fit just fine and even tuck a bit. The maxima can handle up to +50mm offsets no problem without hitting the front brake calipers.

Me personally, I would prefer a offset of about +35mm to aquire a more "flush" look.

So Nissan said I needed new struts - now in the market for some suspension goodness. I'm not super-awesome when it comes to suspension. So struts and shocks are different things?? I've been eyeing the GR2/Eibach setup. That front wheel gap kills me to look at! I owned a Celica All-Trac for years, and autocrossed it with SCCA. I had Koni Yellows in it and they were awesome, but for the Maxima - uber-heavy - just looking for some good replacements.

And if the Koni adj struts just aren't available, what would you recommend than? Still the AGX adj shocks in the rear and an adj strut like illuminas up front? And isnt there some kind of device you can buy to adjust these adjustable struts/shocks from inside your ride, on the fly?

Eibach and GR-2 is the way Im going. Just found the GR-2 all 4 on ebay with free shipping for 185.96.

I've been doing suspension drops on all my cars since high school and that was back in 91-94. I was using Eibach then and they were great and will use them now. I've tried Teins too on one of my Galants and they ride good too but not much of a drop. I also had coil overs and sold them in few weeks. The ride was horrible for street use at any level. On the track, they were perfect. I believe that where they belong.

I have the eibach pro kit on my 05 maxima but after the drop, my tires seemed to wear badly on the insides of all the tires. I've had an alignment done and now the rear tires wear on the inside pretty bad. What could be the problem?

This is my first post and I hope this is on track with the purpose of the thread. I am looking for a company that sells polyuerethane bushings for the front end of my 07. I have looked at ES and Prothane and they dont seem to make them for that new of a Max. I can tell the strut bushings are going and dont really want to go stock. While I have it apart I just want to replace all the bushings, springs and struts/shocks. Any ideas please.
