Bought the Maxima in 2005 with 32K miles and now it has 148K. Running great but with an oil consumption problem.

i have 42k on mine but when i bought it it was about 37k on it but sadly there was a malfunction which caused the battery to explode and the car caught fire
now its bin sittin home for more then 4 months now

2004, bought in 10/2006 w/ 29K, currently has 82K give or take 500.

Had my first real problem. Something shorted/burned out the navi, drivers seat, and radio and temp controls...Boo!

2005 Max, SE, 6 speed. Bought w/ 24k in July of 2006. Have 88k now. Only major problem I had was ABS going out and a $2000 repair. Also had the gas gauge spin all the way around and then stuck. This happened when I changed the battery. Took apart the dash to fix.

We brought our A32 '96 Maxima with 85,000klm on it and now it has 230,000klm.

We brought the '04 in November '04 with ok's on it and now this has 116,000klm on this J31.

Both are traveling real good here in Aus.
