chrome strip replacement

chrome strip replacement

Does anyone know where I can get these chrome strips at off of the internet and have the installed? Mine has finally duled out and it looks awful!!!!

mine was too until i polished it. i couldn't believe the difference it made. give it a try. i used wendels metal polish. even though its not metal.

the risk of cracking your windshield and install cost are not worth the fact they will just dull again.

I'll try to polish them, but have been considering just covering them.

come off really easy and there's virtually no chance of cracking your windshield (I'm sure someone could pull it off though) Just paint them, I had mine replaced and I have polished them and they just dull up again...

I hate the fact that these turn dull! I tried some metal polish and it worked pretty well.

Let us know how you exactly 'removed' them and 're-installed' them. I am thinkin about getting mine wrapped in vynyl

Yeah it's textured spray paint, I guess you could say I'm addicted to it now. I just used the same paint to blk out my headlights. As far as taking them off, they are just held on by clips. I did end up bending them a bit so be careful. Pretty self explanatory once you see how they work...
