Best rubber on your max?

Im looking to getting these Bridgestone Pole Positions for my max but, I'm looking at these Yoko W4S as well. Any comments about these two tires?

Thanks!

I have the bridegstones (see sig for reference), and they perform really well in heavy rain, and dry weather... excellent grip, and ride quality is similar to stock, if not alittle more bumpy.... i did extensive research @ tirerack and it was between these and the pirelli p-zeros for me... Bridgestones are really nice though

I have the W4s on mine, awesome tires, great price, wet or dry they have excellent traction, can't go wrong with them.

So far I have 12,000 on them, still look new some premature wear but from high speed cornering, I tend to get new tires when they loose road grip in wet weather, so far no signs of that, I check them from time to time and they never lose air and I use a quarter to check the tread depth, still like new

I expect 30k-40k out of them, under normal driving maybe 40k-60k, they do have a treadwear of 400 so that makes them a harder rubber

I have a Bridgestone Pole Positions on my 06 Maxima and i really don't like them ,no traction in rain when accelerating ,they nice and quiet until 10.000 miles and then really bad, next time i definitely will go with Yokohama Advan s.4.

I have the yokohama advan s4 on my 04 SL. Very good tires. The only issue is road noise. With the max now dropped on progress and with stiffer kyb gr2, I have a lot more feedback from the tires. Mostly adds to the pleasure of driving but sometimes on long drives gets annoying.

FALKEN FK452's

245-40-19

Love'm so far. Drove to Atlanta and back 6 hours and they were great. Also recently had some rain and no problems on wet roads.

Had Falken FK-452 on my track wheels that lasted me 30,000+ miles and they still had a good 25%ish left.

I have toyo T1Rs and they have been spectacular. They are 19s though. For the money, they have been a great purchase with over 15K on them now.

I just bought a set up Goodyear Eagle GTs 245/40/19 yesterday. They grip the road like no man's business. I also had the tires siped as well for more traction, longer treadlife, and softer ride.

I"ll second this. These tires (255/40-17) have been great for the 5k I've had them. Pretty good price, great grip wet or dry, pretty quiet and comfy, and they're lighter than most other tires. You can't go wrong with these!

I have the Dunlop Direzza Z1 and I've tried so hard to make them scream while cornering but it just doesnt happen. They grip amazingly. Kinda noisy though and at ~180/tire, theyre not the cheapest. they're also praised by those who auto-x i hear.

I had T1Rs as well and they are an amazing tire but they lasted me just under a year. I went to Toyo Proxes 4 and they still good but the T1R's we're so sticky and great to drive on. Just wish they would last longer, my Proxes 4 are almost on 2 years now and just abit ready to be replaced...

I also have the Goodyear Eagle GT (245/40/19), but have only had them for a little over a week. I think they look really nice on the wheel - they're all-season tires but have a 'performance zone" on the outside and the "all season" zone on the inside which you don't even see. A couple people who've looked at the tires on the car were surprised to see they were all season.

My only complaint so far is that they are much louder than the stock Conti's. Not enough to be annoying, but enough that it's noticable.

Probably, but I will say that they most likely would have last me a few more months but I got a flat and since the tires were past the wear line, no one would even repair them so i just bought all 4 new instead of just one...they still lloked pretty good to me but...

Now my rears are pretty much slicks so I guess you could say I'm running the Proxes 4 to their life's end..maybe the T1-R's got to live out their lives at the Toyo retirement home!

I have the BF Goodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S on mine. They give great traction and perform awesome in wet conditions. They also look wicked when wet.

Does anyone else find when you take off from a stop at a light, you have to be real easy on the gas pedal otherwise you spin the tires have excellent wet traction but just on take off I spin when the road is wet

I had Pole Pos. on my 330. Great summer tire, nice sticky rubber.
BUT.... As soon as it gets cold outside, the traction is gone.
Do not even attempt snow with them.
