Tire Pressure sensor
#3
First, check and see if the shop that did your wheels installed your sensors from your factory wheels to your new wheels or if your new wheels came with sensors (which i doubt they came with it). If you dont have the sensors on your new wheels then you 1. can take them off the factory wheels and have them installed on the new ones and then reset the tpm or 2. purchase a new set of sensors and have them installed. I think the first one would apply provided you still have your factory wheels. Hope this helps. I think you may still have to go to the dealer to have them resetted although some tire places have the scanner to reset them so ask your tire shop if they can do it am sure it will be a lot cheaper than the dealer except if your dealer would do you the favor and reset them for you without charging you for it.

That's because your old rims have the sensors on them still but the new ones probably don't, check it and see if the new ones have the sensors installed. The light will never turn off untill you put sensors in the wheels and reset the tire pressure monitoring system. It's as simple as that.

If you have the FACTORY Chrome rims from Nissan, PLEASE READ THIS:
When mounting new tires, be sure to inspect the inner rim for cracked chrome. At first, I thought that maybe it was the tires, but recently, I had new tires put on and in three days, one tire was flat. I took it back to Firestone, and after further investigation, we noticed that the tires were not able to seal properly. This was due to the crome pealing off within the bead (between the tire and rim). If anyone else has a similar problem, please post here. The dealership informed me that because only one wheel was bad, they wouold not replace all four. I'll have Firestone inspect the other three and let you know what will happen next.
I would really like anyone elses input ont this (and other) matter(s) involving defects. In 3k more miles, the warranty will run out on the wheels.
The dealership has already replaced the driver's side seatback for having a bad lumbar bag and an entire passenger side seat for improperly mounted controls. Yes, the entire seat just because the electrical controls were loose. In just two months after purchasing my Max, I took it back for the tire pressure indicator lamp being on every 2 weeks after inflating the tire. Their resolution "at that time" was to re-inflate the tire.
