Front Strut Replacement Videos

I know there have been quite a few write ups on how to replace struts on the org. CoolMax05 has a really nice one. I think by going by CoolMax's write up and these videos I found on expertvillage.com anyone can replace their own struts. Quit paying Nissan and other shops outragous fees for labor and do it yourself. Especially in today's society where everything cost so much.

Thanks KC.

Here is the link that really nails it down. This is where most people have issues (the alignment of the strut).

This link shows in great detail how to properly align the strut. Because a lot of us go with aftermarket springs, you MUST align the top hat mark with the outer strut bracket as illustrated.

Again, thanks for the props and videos KC.

I was just looking at the new mounts last night trying to figure out the alignment. Doesn't seem like hard science, just common sense. Stupid question for you... I bought the KYB strut mount with bearing. Now, I open the box and I have a mount, rubber seat and three bolts. My assumption is that the bearing is installed in the mount. Am I correct?
