Nice work. Personally, I like the 04-06 headlights better, but the 07 bumper looks so much nicer. Are you going to get take off the fenders too? How much did the lights/bumper/hood/ fenders( if changed) run you?

fenders are the same 04-08 so i didnt take the 07/08 fenders. for everything $600 haha, my boy got smacked from the passanger side front and rear so he was parting out and i snatched most of what i wanted.

that sucks... lucky you. Does he still have anything left? If you don't mind me asking.

IMO. you should get those headlights painted black.

Hello! The swap project looks like it's coming along very well.
When I did my 05 to an 07 Complete Front End Swap, my 07 HID
Headlights came equipped with the ballast an all for active HID(s).
Did yours? Another quick question for ya, I see that your parking
light bulb was removed along with the wire harness on the ground
there. Did you switch out the Headlight wire harness to accomodate
the fuction of the 07 unit. B/C I just hook-up the 07 HID Headlights
right up to my 05 an it worked perfectly.

congrats again bro on the modd... hope mine looks like that when i'm done... btw: the hood isn't really that noticeable i thought it was going to be alot worst.... makes me calm down about rushing everything to make it perfect.

Hey I am a full on maxima newbie and I was just curious as to how you did the center console for the back seats? (eliminating the middle seat)

I would really love to do this and I am getting my 04 maxima soon.

Okay, so I am clear about this. If a person wants to swap they must change out the fenders, bumper, hood and headlights.
How does the wiring hook up?
Does the mounting holes for the newer parts line up?
How did the fog lights hook in? Did you wire them into an already preexisting switch/wiring harness? If so what was the watt/amp difference between the years?
I like the work you did. Just want to get more ideas of what im getting into if I were do the same thing.

Jesse

no the fenders dont need to be changed.
headlights are plug and play, it uses the same factory harness plug.
Fog lights i didnt wire up yet, I will be doing that monday 1st thing in the am.
thanks Jesse once you take the parts off you will too see how easy this job is to do.
