New bumper on its way.

As some of you might know allready, i've been excited about bringing this idea to life, I've been talking to bodykits.org and today I went to their office, talked to the ceo, and this thing is happening. Im going to sell this on my site, uniqp.com,(its under contruction guys, so dont mind the cheap look) its going to come with the grills and the lights installed, im really pushing to have this bumper as "plug and play" as possible, it will only need paint, im paying out of my pocket to get the rights and have 10 made for the first batch,

I know some people are not feeling some of the aspects of this bumper, and believe me, your opinions are more than welcome, lets get something we all like, price wise, im hoping to keep it in the 500 to 550 range, thats mostly because of the grill, then the lights,

It will prolly come with a detachable center piece, (the upside down t) you get two bumper for the price of one!, if I can get a cheap way to make more we can keep designing more center pieces to change the look every now and then.

Well guys, no much more to say, expect this to be out in january or feb next year.

this is what it should look like, we might change some things in the molding process but this is what im shooting for.

photoshopers use this image to add your own grill design for the center piece

remember you'll get both!, (If I can make it happen and make it look good) you'll be able to choose from different center pieces. fingers crossed.

I AM IMPRESSED. It's sleek, and it gives the Max a hard look to it over the typical 'luxury sedan'. I am interested. Very good work man especially if it's all plug n play

O yea, once this is done, we should be able to fit the bumper on the 07s too, with minor mods, to the mold, we'll see how it plays out.

I fixed some of the faded black, I also made the grill start at about the same height as the stock on this pic

and this on is the same just a littel longer (sitting lower.)

.

Thanks miami, I'll do everything that its on my hands to make this bumper as good as possible, the rest is on the prospecting buyers.

I like your concept, definitely like the fog light openings, but the big chrysler 300 grille look is not working for me. many people are looking for a better looking bumper, many want just a simple bumper but sporty. I do too. something like the 2007 maxima bumper but with your concept mixed in.
If you are going with an big aggressive bumper look like some members have, you might not get to many sales. just my opinion.

I wish you the best, i will definitely await your posts.

Max is this design constructed for direct bolt up to the 6th gen..or 6.5?? I know the 6.5 fits the 6th gen for the most part, with the exception of the gap by the hood. Will this be corrected in your design?

I don't like it ! If I wanted that style I would have bought the chrysler 300. I have no problem dropping 5 bills but it has to be sporty . I prefer something closer to the 07 sport camry lower bumper. I'm sorry don't know how to get pics to show. If you make this bottom lip spoiler mark me down now!

My feeling exactly!! I could not agree more...No offense to you of course (Max2)...I do admire the effort though.

I looks like you photochopped an Audi grill.

If you're going to make a bumper and plan to turn a profit you should listen the members of the forums that would actually buy a bumper. I think alot of guys will say a rendering looks good and that they'd buy it but in reality only a few would truly buy it.

There's only a small market for complete bumpers. I think the market for a lip spoiler is much larger. There are more maxima owners that would buy a lip spoiler than there are that would buy a bumper. You need to keep it clean and it has to match the overall look of the maxima for it to appeal to the masses.

Just my $0.02...

Yeah that front looks terrible man. Sorry Max2. FYI there is no way that camry front end is photoshopped. It looks too good, shadows, reflectons line up everything. Regardless, it's one of the most gorgeous front ends I have seen to date on a production car.

alot of guys here like the RLM bumper but how many actually bought it. My guess would be less than 1/2 of those guys...

My point is that most guys would buy a lip over a bumper.

Not realy feelin' any of them yet.

When I first saw the photochop, I was like... wth..? But as I scroll down with more updates, it's actually getting better. Something that's standing to me and bothering me the most is the crease by the headlight that goes from the hood to the bumper. The crease doesn't flow with it. I do like the idea of the look of the open bumper thing though! Good luck!
