Ok I went ahead and did what you guys said. Here is exactly what the printed copy from Autozone said.

OEM Number to Cross: PO113
OEM Brand: OBDII

The PCM has determined that the input from the intake air temperature sensor is higher than expected for the current engine operating conditions.
Explanation: The IAT Signal is used as an input for various systems in the vehicle.
Probable Causes:
1- Check Connector and wiring
2- Sensor open or shorted- replace sensor

I also bought the CRC QD Electronic Cleaner. Is that the one you guys were recommending to buy?

P0113 is correct then. CRC MAF Cleaner but this cleaner should work also.

Did you check the MAF connection (cause 1) just for the remote possibility that one pin is bent or pushed back ?

Service manual says to first check/tighten ground connections around ECU. Then with key on, check voltage on MAF connector between pin 2 and ground to be 5V. Pins 6 of connector is also a ground. If everything is OK, then you do need an new MAF/IAT sensor.

IM just_turbo2. He had a new MAF for sale a few months ago.

Believe it or not brother. But sure enough the connection from the MAF was slightly out. I disconnected everything I saw and reconnected. And the fault cleared. I drove around roughly 30 miles and the fault did not come up again. Do you think the computer would have recognized an actual fault within 30 miles?

Nissan said the warranty will be in the service manual. But mine is still in SoCal with my demon ex. lol

If you or anyone can please check the service manual and see if anything states that Nissan will not warrant Aftermarket parts or anything like that, please fill me in.

2 billion served. Another happy customer. Glad everything is fine. Depending on the sensor, the computer may need up to 10 cycles (cold, hot, cold again) to reset, but it may reset with just 5 or 10 miles.

The service manual only had notes about aftermarket parts, radios, CD player that may trip the ABS or SLIP light.

From the warranty booklet I downloaded from NISSAN last year:

NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
DAMAGE, FAILURES OR CORROSION DUE TO ACCIDENTS, MISUSE OR ALTERATIONS
This warranty does not cover damage, failures or corrosion
resulting from:
■ Accident, theft, fire, driving through water (including engine
water ingestion) or misuse (Proper use is outlined in
your OWNER’S MANUAL).
■ Alteration, tampering or improper repair.
■ Installation of non-Nissan approved accessories or components.
■ Improper installation of any Nissan approved or aftermarket
accessory or component.
■ Glass breakage, unless resulting from defects in material
or workmanship.
■ Normal wear and tear, including dings, dents, chips or
scratches.

LOL!!

Thanks a lot for the help. Ok so the service manual does indeed state something that will not cover the warranty. I will need to talk to AEM then and see why they posted that damn statement then.

I think this thread is officially at its end. Thanks for the help homies!!

Its a catch 22. AEM is not at fault. Nor is Nissan. Improper installation of an aftermarket part was the problem. Chalk it up as lesson learned.
