rear glass

anybody know how much for the rear glass/window? the one with the defroster. btw i have an '04. tnx

You could always ask a windshield replacement company in your area for a free quote, some companies even have mobile repair services. For a rear window, I'm guessing $200-275

thanks man! I just wanted to have a ballpark figure before I start calling tomorrow. I dunno what hit it but it totally "shattered" the rear glass, although I guess some plastic material is keeping it intact. Im thinking random acts of vandalism, but I dunno...

Man, if you lived in Houston, There's a place called Uniglass. They replaced the rear window with defrost for 156 after tax on my cousins max.

Thanks man! I just got some figures from 3 different shops and boy there prices are really far aprt: 1st one was 275, 2nd was 220, 3rd was 198. I guess Im going for the 198!

hehe that was no brainer (just make sure its a quality shop).

You don't want to save couple of bucks and have leaks and/or other problems.

Are they gonna replace it with OEM glass or aftermarket, I've seen many problems with the aftermarket and would pay extra for OEM and you should have full glass coverage with no deductible, my policy cam that way
