I don't think I have heard of that happening but that would be covered by your warranty.

There are two subs. What makes you think those subs are blown? No sound, rattling, popping etc?

I would say they are covered. Of course they only way to know for sure is to go down there and ask.

You can always ask the stealership, nothing lost in asking a question. Different stealerships have been known to cover different things...

check and make sure you didnt blow the fuse first. Then check the plugs that connect to the subs. I blew one and resoldered the connection. When it blew it cut in and out. I seriously doubt you blew both at the same time.

Ha $450, are they crazy or what?! I knew they had quoted me something crazy when I sold my stock subs.

Cost was the easy part, picked those subs up used from Nismos14 for like $180 for the pair.

5 was the difficulty. Man that was a lot of work. Nismos14 is a great guy to deal with, he helped me over the phone several times. Here is a tip though, if you are going to just run a sub box back there, just take those stock subs out, it will allow the bass to pass more easily into the cab of the car.

Oh yeah, what size were your stock subs? The come in either 8" or 6x9.
