My idea of the 7th Gen

So I was screwing around with photoshop and decided to make my idea of the next gen Max. I took cues from all the talk about it having styling similiar to the Mercedes and I incorporated that into Nissan's current styling. Let me know what you think.

I am more worried about what theyre going to have in the soul of the 09. But having read somehwere about having cues from the CLS, it's a good idea, but plzzzz bring the sporty maxima back lol
nice photoshop! I like the M45 wheels on that benzy body.

I don't know what the big fuss is about the 7th gen looking like a CLS. The CLS does look extremely nice and sporty, but it lacks a BIG amount of rear seating; there is almost as little room as a real coupe would have, which imo is pretty bad for a 4-door car

Rear fenders look off (rolled inwards instead of out) and the rims don't really match the styling for a stock option. Besides that, pretty sweet photochoppin'

Sick photochop... I've always loved the body lines of the CLS. I'm sure the next Maxima will have that love it or hate it style. But two biggest questions for me are FWD or RWD and 3.5 or 3.7???

nice chop, but too bulky for my tastes as a maxima, like someone else said, nissan needs to bring back the real, sportier roots of the maxima!

Good job. I'm really anxious to see what the real thing will look like. I'll be ready for a new ride in late '09.

Civic taillights FTL. Everything else is decent, if very benz-y (not a bad thing).

What's the saying, "Give me a lever big enough and I can move the world"? Well, I'm sure the same principle applies with cash. You have enough of it, you can get anybody to make anything you want lol

Like which gen? None of the generations look real "sporty" imo, until you start to mod the esthetics, then it's more "sporty" looking.

The 5.5 gen was the sportiest when it came down to the mechanical stuff, as in the motor paired with the transmission!

I would love to see a 7th gen Maxima on a rwd m35 chassis...... but... how sad I'm sure I'm gonna be disappointed hahaa

I would like Nissan to make a good looking Maxima too for a change a little closer to the agility ans size of the 3rd and 4th gen but ofcourse that wouldnt make sense as we couldnt have an altima and a maxima the same size
M35 size, chassis, Nissan styling, sporty before luxury all available at 10k less than the M

True but once some get modded they look CLEAN for the price.

Nice photoshop work. That would be sick...

Nissan,

Are you listening and reading?

Funny thing is, I saw it, loved it and thought, NOW DROP HER! I would buy again if this were their design and if I could get the 6-speed tranny.

As usual, great photoshop Joe! You never dissappoint.

No, I dont think a coupe will ever come out for the max. From the get-go for the maxima, it was a luxury-sport's sedan. It always had four doors, plenty of space, and plenty of HP to get you and your boss to wherever you were going quickly and in style. Now, I see Nissan as shifting (no pun intended lol) the Maxima into the realm of ultra-luxury sedans, and moving the Altima into the luxury-sports sedan (or coupe now) into the void left by the maxima.
