By the way, I painted the entire endlink with Rust-oluem to guard against rust. It seems to be working...probably just need to paint it every
year. I shoud've gone with stainless steal bolts and washers.

I think its the bolt that comes with the endlinks. It is smaller in diameter then the hole on the progress sway bar and it allows for play causing that loud click/bang when it shifts.

TAZ, If my memory serves me well I ordered brushed bar with black brackets. When do you expect to ship this variety?

you are some what correct, it does contribute but not the main reason. The new V2 endlinks as well as the new upgraded V1 endlinks will all be 10mm. The old style was 3/8 (9.5mm) As well the bushings for the V2's will be a custom setup made directly by energy suspension for Racingline

Front endlinks should be ready for sale either friday or monday however quantities are limited. I'll have 14 sets and then another 25 in about a month. Because of this I'm still undecided about wether there will be an introductory sale. Preorder participants will still however get a lower price as promised. I'll have more definite details by the weekend. I"m just waiting on 1 of the assembly pieces to show up, it should be here by friday along with new rear endlinks

I received my FSTB today, but there is a fitment issue...on the first page where the picture is, on the left side where that little blue cap thing is by the mount...the bar is totally touching it and in a way bending it away from the mount. I notice that in the picture it looks a decent length away, but mine is touching the thing. I even loosened the bracket for those little lines and it is still touching it...

Taz-any input?

I take picture now

The first one is with the cap on and the line bracket in place and the strut mount not fully on

The second one is of the cap taken off, bracket loosened, and the strut mount completely on

discuss

nope, then the gold thing won't mount back on.

And I already checked to see if it was backwards, but it's not lol

nope because then the gold thing won't go back on and the only way to slide it is to have the gold thing loose, but then it won't screw back on

Just like the Stillen FUSB, be gentle and bend it away till it no longer touches (it's soft aluminum so it has a bit of flex to bend, but not much), I then used a tie wrap to keep it off!!!

Take it off and pound the curve out of it, that should take care of the problem.

Thank god I ordered the brushed bar. I hope all these issues will be worked-out by then. I am not sure but is it the bracket that is the issue or is it the valve?

Oh forgot one thing, pull it up outside of the white plastic retaining clip and move it to the right side of the clip before you bent ever so gently. then you can tie wrap it to the bigger pipe to the right of it!!!

Stillen isn't perfect either, but at least they state in their installation instructions that you will have to gently bend the A/C pipe out of the way for a no rub fit!!!

Here's a polished Stillen...

glad to see someone got theirs finally, just be patient guys they are coming. that said:

The AC line....... the one thing that I have found after testing the production piece on 6 different cars is that that stupid AC line is in a slightly different spot on every car. SERIOUSLY. Nothing major but a few mm here and there. That is why you may have noticed that the bar itself has some play. both the plates and the bar can "wiggle" the bar can also go up or down a total of about 1/8 " to account for any variables from car to car. That said I am surprised to see your touches. But as Chern said there are lots of options that take less than 2 min to fix. you can bend the bracket or even just slide the bracket sligtly (loosen the bolt, reposition, tighen bolt), you can remove the rubber grommet and bolt the bracket directly to the body as on the 07's and some altimas giving more height above.

aside from all that how do you like it?
