Upgraded some lights

well i just upgraded my lights as the title says...i've changed the stock 4300K HID bulbs with 6000Ks and lemme tell you something those shyts are crazy...they looks very nice...my boys says they are hyper white...and let me explain its white with a bit of the bluish hue on it...looks very good...going to post up pics within a few days. also installed my luminics h3 JDM yellow bulbs. looks really good buh i want the full control of the stalk and i think its going to look even better once i get the yellow lenses...yellow lenses with yellow bulbs...hopefully the bulbs don't blow on me...

and for those who've taken off the bumper is it me or is it a pain to get to those two screws on both sides holding the bumper in place...? OMFG...spent almost 1 hour along taken then out and putting them back in.

PICS WILL BE UP SOON...sorry.

here are the pics:

6000K HiDs...really like the bluish tone to the hyper whites...

here's with the fogs on...Luminics JDM Yellow...130W output...really nice...

here's another angel of the headlights w/fogs on

this is the striaght view of the lights...

i really like the outcome...however i've decided that if one of these bulbs blow out in record time i plann on converting to mini H3 HiDs...also learned that taking off the bumper is no easy task...not hard either buh really a pain in the ASSSS!

ooo plus btw plan on purchasing the yellow lens (NOT BULBS) for the fogs...from HIDTech...tehe...now for install is another question.

Light setup looks great, as for the bumper, piece of cake, I've had mine on and off so much I can do it in less than 10 minutes...

nice setup man. i'm thinking of switching my stock HID's out next week. Anyone think have a 6000K superwhite in my fogs and a 12000K purple in my HIDs would look odd? I worry a lot about the color's canceling out one another and looking goofy

what kind of blubs where the 6k? and how much of a light output/visibility did you notice afterwards? i hvae been thinking of just buying the 6k hid bulbs and swapping them.
the yellow bulbs look nice.

but i believe projectmax did a hid fog light swap which came out looking real nice, cant find the thread now though.

i think the trickiest part of it is the two screw/bolts behind the splash guards/wheel wells.

where the bumper meets the fender line...as soon as you pop out the spalsh guard you will see the first bolt...kinda easy to get to...now is the hard one...if you take your wheels off it should be easier...but you don't have to...now the second screw/bolt is about a little more than half way down the bumper/fender line. you'll feel something like a bolt there...thats your second screw. do the same for the other side. now after you took out the other screws on the bottom and top you should be good just pop the bumper off...FYI watch for the fact that after the bumper snaps out...it falls right down...watch for the corner lights that are still connected...after that there are 5 screws each holding the headlights in...and i mean everything after that is self-expl...lolxz hope it helps a little...

Looks good. Can you post a picture of the front of the car with the lights on? MrOleg installed the H3 yellow fogs for me. That was easy for him to do. You don't have to take off the bumper.

this is of the 6000K headlights against my garage door.

this is of the headlights with my fog lights on my garage door.

this is of the headlights alone on my garage floor w/door opened.

this is w/fogs on and w/garage door opened.

trust me the pics are not lying...with the fogs on they really do make a difference in visibilty...its scary...once i rewire my fogs...i could really just drive with my fog alone...hope that helps everybody with their judgment of the lights. i love them...

Damn, hurry up and close that garage door, its a mess in there. That must be where Jimmy Hoffa's body is hidden b/c they will never find it in there!!!

The lights look good, a little more blue/white than the stock and when you add the fogs- its like a burst of sunshine is turned on. I think we will all be able to see you coming at us from waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy down the road.

true however there is still a noticable difference between 4300 and 6000K.

and on a separate note...anyone that has done their own lights...have your lights ever flickered? cause it looks like either something is loose or i don't know...i think i'mma have to look at the lights again. any idea what it is? maybe i didn't connect something properly?

4300K is daylight, anything on either side will not be as bright.

If you are going for the looks then thats different. I bought 5000K fogs to compliment my 4300 stock HIDs which might have to be replaced with 5000K too since one of them is going out (getting that reddish hue)
