Funny you mention that because I've been happy with my Brembo OEMs and Hawk pads but I did think about a BBK the other day. A BBK would indeed look vicious behind those wheels. But for $1500 I rather get the TS reprogram and valve body.

good choice with silver and black... my suggestion, maybe try to do something to your car in order to make it stand out from the other silver and black Maximas... but still very nice...

I concur. However, if he wanted to add big brakes and an '07 spoiler, I wouldn't try to talk him out of it.

Not bad at ALL, considering the 17x7" 02-03 wheels weigh IIRC 28.5 lbs. :thumbusp:

Actually they weigh 24lbs. But his rims being 20x9 and weighing 29.5 is pretty decent I guess.

Nope. The PLX R300 is a wideband 02 sensor. With a few cool features.

It all depends on where the sensor was placed and if it was downsteam of the catalytic converter.

The neat thing is that you can tune on the fly and monitor AFR in real time and tune if you have an AFC. Also the R300 you can monitor 5 items w/ 0-5v input. Or a speed (hz) signal, i.e VSS (vehicle speed sensor) and data log with the software the unit comes with. Which is very intuitive. The sample rate is 1hz, (0.1s), so you can log comparing different mods. For instance you can log 0-60 or whatever you want, and compare them since the software converts to Excel in a jiffy

And of course, I have a bung in my test pipe, so therefore I get true AFR, all the time..... that is when I get the wb inside the cabin.. At the moment I just have it monitoring my ECT, RPM, speed, & MAF. A couple of more items than the SAFC can log/show.

Bro, I got the same thing. A bung was installed after the cat on the y-pipe and used with a wideband 02 for tuning. I went to the best.

After the cat= not good. It needs to be before the cat in order to obtain accurate readings.

What unit (wb o2) do you have? No, still no. You haven't got the best. It needs to be prior to the cat, and you need to have an in cabin readout w/ software. The readout means nothing since things happen so fast, even if it was too lean you couldn't save it. Any how I hav it in cabin so I can tune wherever, whenever (street tune under load)

Let me get back to you on that,

Maybe it is before the cat because if I recall correctly the O2 sensors are after the cat.

I don't have my own wb 02. The folks that dyno tuned it took care of that.

But I can see why tuning it under load could be useful.

Yeah, I was right. It's after the cat. You can see the bung installed after the y-pipe. And yes, that is a messy looking re-wire of the 02s:

Why do you have 2 bungs? Also if you have the 02 sensor where is the control unit?

Bro, I'm not a do-it-yourselfer. Those two 02 sensors were re-wired from the stock system.

Back to my wheels...

Ahhhh nevermind. I appreciate all the positive feedback.

I really do need to know more about A/F and tuning and all that. My shop sorta scared me out of touching the AFC.

LOL! They made sure you wouldn't touch it so that they can earn your money instead of having you save your money and do self tuning.

Time for you to go back to your 5th Gen forum.

I don't have enough knowledge about that to tune myself.
