Nice vid and really good quality. Those gauges are a VAST improvement over the 6.0 gen IMO. But your engine kinda sounds different...in the video it kind of reminds me of a VG. Weird...

Still, downloading the video, but it my 07 doesn't remind me of my VG at all...my VG has a DETT at the end though

totally different animal I was referring to the VG30E in the maxima/quest

i hope you didnt punch it??? it took 8-9 sec to hit 60mph.

I couldn't agree with you more. I was against the "cookie cutter" gauge cluster they used in the Maxima/Z/Altima/Murano (I think)

that was slowly increasing the pressure on the throttle...the more you put your foot down, the higher the RPMs rise.

yes i know that guys.

im just saying since the CVT is different and some people are reporting the govenor wont allow them to go over 100mph...

I just thought it was different... im glad to here it not...

Nope, that wasnt a punch.. Just did it gradually so you could hear the transmission. I would have gone higher, but there was a darn stop sign.. hmm.. maybe I will punch it next time and have someone else hold the camera. That street is always empty on sundays.

I had a 2000 just like the white 2002 above. I also painted the grille white for a better appearance.

Both are nice cars.

Anyway for you to simulate an emergency situation. 45mph, quick deceleration and then WOT exit acceleration.
