Contact them. I asked them about it a few months back, and they said they need a car either south Orange, north SD, or AZ.

Well from an inside source I heard that SSR is not all they're cracked up to be. Like I said I had it all set up and then they never follow up, all talk...no action.

Hey MAX2DAMAX welcome aboard I work in Lake Forest actually...

They have done that before. When I had my 5.5 Gen it was the same story.

Guys, I don't think a forced induction kit for our car is going to happen. Think about it, who super/turbo's V6 front wheel drive cars?

The only company that I can think of supercharging FWD V6's is CompTech, and they only do it for Honda/Acuras.

I just don't think it's going to happen. You're better off getting a M35 and hoping someone figures out how to modify one of the numerous kits out there for the 350Z/G35 coupe.

a few weeks ago, i heard from a friend that his friend from school which has a legit racing team put a supercharger on a 6th gen. i don't know much about the details though. i know it's a vortech, it must be a custom fit since no one knows about it. they said they could get it done for my car for $5000. i just don't have that kind of money right now.

It seems that they have a turbo for the 3.5 Altimas... that's news to me (although I have been living under a rock recently...).

No offense but, your information is a tease with no substance. Then again, this whole thread has no substance. Sorry, just venting.

$5000 for a custom supercarger kit(installed?) ain't bad.

If somebody comes out with a SC kit and an AWD kit for about $8000, ill be the first one in line, ( i know there is no such thing a an AWD kit, take a lot of cutting and welding, but no body has died from dreaming.)
think about it, the perfect max.

I see people posting about wanting boost and such but if you really want it that bad then you would already have it. Nobodys gonna make a kit that cost a ton of money for a group of people who think they want it, plain and simple. Im sure the Altima turbo kit would fit our cars with slight modifications.

So why would you need a y pipe AND headers?

because a SC has nothing to do with exhaust flow other than increasing it. a turbo on the other hand would probably negate the headers unless it has the turbo flange built in it.

Well the y pipe is part of the headers. Its the lower part of the exhaust manifold. The reason I said that was because if you buy a set of headers, the y pipe is included. Without it you would only have the upper exhaust manifolds. Your theory just seemed like this, buy y pipe and then get headers and keep both, but that wont work.

i see exactly what your saying, but not all headers go all the way back to the cat. so maybe that is why he put headers and y-pipe. i can't answer this question for him, hell i don't know.

Watch the compression with FI, 10:3 is pushing it with stock internals....

And I disagree with the statement that a SC has nothing to do with exhaust, they better flowing the exhaust can get out the more efficient the FI will work. Unless you were referring to the kit itself coming with equipment, which in that case you are right, a turbo does require special exahust equipment.

I know CE makes the y pipe and Cattman is planning on making headers, what i was trying to say is I want Y pipe performance with Headers or without. Anything really that gets rid of that kink before the CAT. WHO CARES, what I want is the SC, Headers (y pipe maybe in them maybe not), UDP designed for SC vehicle and all the other gizmos.

Is all.
