Service engine light

Service engine light
Has anyone had a service engine light after a radio swap? I got a bose 6 disk in my single cd max. Well for a little bit anyway, it was defective. I noticed after I pulled it my engine light came on. Any link up between the radio and the service engine light. Or maybe the modules in the radio stack?

I took it to autozone and the code was for a fuel temp sensor that was reading to low. I don't know exactly what the modules in the radio stack control. I have the exact code on paper in the car. I will take it to the dealer soon. it doesnt affect the car so I will take it after my fender and bumper are repaired.

I don't think it due to the radio.Samething happened to me and I only had like 700 miles on the odometer at the time. So, naturely I flipped out. I found out sometimes if too much air gets into the gas tank or the cap is loose service light will come on. Just fill up and drive home/around and it should go off soon. Try this for a cheap fix. Fuel temp low? Somehow this dosen't sound right. Fuel temp-fuel tank maybe there's a connection there.

sometimes certain mods will trigger this light...disconnect negative terminal on battery for a little while...usually when you reconnect and turn the car on the computer relearns to the new settings.
