Yeah I wasnt big on the altima tails but they look ok. They arent the cheezy altezza knockoff so I think its acceptable along with the 02-03 maxima tails. Seen a couple of those SeRs around town and they look sweet.

well, thanks for all the feedback, i really tried to get them to make us a red lense version, but they said now for now. As for sales, well we already sold 20 of the initial 50 we have ordered, so they cant be that bad! -Roger

Yes they can... some people just have no taste...

Seriously though, good luck with it... I know that maybe in person they look better, but right now I don't think they look good at all.

And remember, ricers buy all kinds of crap... I bet you'd sell out of those lights that they put on the wiper fluid nozzles too...

To each their own, I suppose.

I talked to Tony from CE a week ago and as far as I know they'll be using my 6th gen elite package for the test fit. I personally don't like the chrome either. I'd perfer a red lense or tinted lense. They could have designed them better. I have ideas that I could do in photoshop, for new tails, but I have no idea on how to get them into production if they are liked by the majority.

Curious, what is the difference in the elite package, verse SE, SL tails? They are all the same so Elite package has nothing to do with it for a tail fit. Am I missing something???

Hopefully not going too far off topic, but I liked the Elite as well but ended up picking a car off the lot to get a good deal. Good thing I didn't end up with it either though... I've had to put the rear seats down several times to carry stuff (wheels, bumper, general crap) and my other car is a coupe, so it would have been pretty stupid to have to rent something just because I can't put the seats down...

Besides, the driver should be the one that's comfortable... the hell with everybody else.

But getting back on track... looking forward to a pictures of those tails mounted on somebody's car... at least we'll finally get to see what they look like IRL.

I'll stick with stocks and tint them for now. When round ones or skyline ish and maybe some carbon arise, I'll get new taillights. No bling blaow for me. How about some stealth eh? Cops harass enough as it is. Oh look, there goes another "Tuner" snot nosed kid... let's get him. So they say. Which reminds me, does Dues or anyone else get pulled over for tinted taillights? Cali laws are crazy sometimes.

I have a 2nd gen maxima with tinted tails and I have never gotten pulled over. I live in Los Angeles though, most cops here don't care about that kind of stuff. Don't know how it would be in bakersfield though

I'm looking into purchasing a new 06' max SE with Driver's package option (yes, I need the back seats for gf humpability, and yeah, THE HELL with everyone else!) But getting back to my point, I'd like to know if any LED tail lights or on the works. Does anyone know if anything like the infiniti style-like LED tail lights will hit the market for Max's? I'm deeply saddened nissan didn't take the max with the LED approach, but they did for the Murano....-_-;; I mean, c'mon now, that's the way of all future lighting and even the accords have them now! Anyhow, let me know if any LED tail lights are in the works.

I am not sure if these headlights were ever brought up on the org. So I thought I would share what I came across this morning. Reminds me of the Altima tail lights.

That's the last thing I want to do is make my car look like an Altima! Good to know other people are stepping up though! Where did you find these ones?
