Active Tuning Engine Grounding Kit?

I tried to search to see if someone else posted it but I'm not able to search, so if anyone has a link to this I'd appriciate it. If not does anyone have any real life testimonial. Is it worth it? Is it hard to install? Any known problems after installation?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Chris

I love them...

As long as it's a quality grounding kit with good quality wire and six of them then anybodys kit should do fine ..

Here was my experience...

Anything above 4 is overkill in our opinion, and you're really paying more for little effect. The 4 we use generally better ground the battery, alternator, transmission, and throttle body. Those are the spots where we feel you would see the most benefits.

On that note, we plan on doing a group buy for you 6th genners any day now!

Not saying that overkill is a bad thing, I just mean it more in the way that your paying more after a certain point for a very tiny difference if anything. Definitely no harm done though.

I agree but, your kit doesn't ground the alternator. It only does the other 3 you mentioned and the engine. Could just do a short one from Altn bracket to engine point.
well, now you're a sponsor! good stuff.

I really think you need to do the Alternator bracket.. Just add another strand to the kit and charge more...

Not much support for the Active Tuning group deal on the grounding kit.

Bumping this up one more time, maybe there are some who weren't aware of it. Sounds like a nice addition to the car.

I'm with you , ActiveTuning has a great kit and I have helped install 2 of their kits in Org members rides, overall excellent quality and easy to install. However, mine is custom and has 6 (2g) ground wires...
